The Founders

Abhishek had a bone to pick with most grooming products on the market. After seeing so many dogs struggle with preventable skin irritations and fur problems, he set out on a mission to change that.

As a skincare enthusiast, Abhishek has always been conscious of what he uses on his own skin — so naturally, he began wondering what exactly he was putting on Bruno’s coat. What he discovered was shocking: the dog care industry is largely unregulated, with no standardized testing, little ingredient transparency, and misleading labels.

After analyzing more than 30 dog shampoos and conditioners, he found that most contained harsh irritants or excessive concentrations of active ingredients — both unnecessarily rough on sensitive skin.

That’s what inspired Dr.Dog — a transparent, skin-first brand formulated with gentle, good-for-skin ingredients and without potentially sensitizing ones. The goal is simple: help our dogs feel comfortable in their skin, enjoy more playtime, and soak up their days — itch-free.
